2025-26 Early Financial Aid Offer

Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance to the University of New England!
 
 We are committed to helping you make UNE an affordable investment. Our Student Financial Services team is available and eager to assist you and your family with any questions about financing your UNE education.    
 
 As an accepted student, you received a merit scholarship award from Admissions. You also may be eligible to receive additional need-based financial aid from the UNE, the federal government, and state government. Need-based financial aid includes scholarships and grants (gift aid not repaid), Federal Work Study and Direct Student Loans. To apply for need-based financial aid you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available online at www.fafsa.gov. UNE’s FAFSA Code is: 002050. Completing the FAFSA is truly your first step in making UNE an affordable option.
 
 Please be aware, the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be available for families in December 2024. We encourage you to complete the FAFSA as soon as it becomes available. Student Financial Services will begin notifying students who have filed their FAFSA of their financial aid eligibility on a rolling basis in February 2025.
