This Net Price Calculator is designed to help you estimate your financial aid options as a full time, first time freshman for the University of San Diego. The cost that each family will ultimately pay to attend USD will vary greatly and be influenced by many factors, including the academic strength of the student, the financial resources of the family, personal characteristics, and the state in which the student lives.
Our financial aid professionals will work to put together a financial award that maximizes all the many factors that may be considered. Please keep this is mind as you use this tool
- it is intended to provide only a rough estimate of aid that might be available. We encourage all families to apply for admission, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and wait until they receive their official financial aid award before deciding if USD is an option.
To get the best results possible, please be sure to complete the entire process. If you have any questions, please visit our website at http://www.sandiego.edu/admissions/financial_aid.php
Before you begin, it will be helpful to have the following items handy:
-Grade Point Average (GPA)
-Standardized Test Scores
-Earnings statements (W2 forms, recent pay check stubs)
-2016 Tax returns (if available)
The first section will ask for the student information and will estimate the availability of a merit scholarship. This is based on the 2018-19 entering class parameters and is subject to change.
The second section will ask for the parent and student income and asset information and will estimate the availability of need based financial aid. You are encouraged to complete both sections for the most accurate estimate possible.
